Thanks, Kate! I’m seriously crushing on pastel these days…
your recent posts have me daydreaming of spring and ditching the bulky layers. today, however, is dreary and cold. blah.
BLAH is right, Summer…we need to get to spring and soon!
Seeing the Coach brand bag made me think of a question for you:
What is your opinion of the Coach bags with the C’s all over them? I was given one for Christmas that is a fantastic shape. It’s a sort of silky fabric, with C’s (reddish-burgundy, brown, khaki, outlined in silver) on a bone background, with rich brown leather handles and cross-body strap.
I haven’t used it yet because I’m big-time on the fence about the whole C’s issue. It’s a super good-looking bag, but I’m torn. What’s your opinion??
Thanks so much!
Hi Vicki! This is a tough one, and I can see why you’re on the fence. I think you just need to follow your gut on this one — if you find yourself looking at it and thinking “ehhh…don’t know if that’s me,” I would probably return and exchange for something else. I promise that it will be way worse if you keep it thinking you’ll grow to like it and then discovering that you’ve relegated it to the back of your closet. (Something I have definitely done in the past.) My personal opinion is that the “C” logo looks a little dated — they were so popular about eight or ten years ago, and I remember all of my friends and I died over them. Perhaps they will come back in a big way, and you’ll be ahead of the curve…but that’s just my opinion! If I’ve learned anything, it’s that you should follow your gut!
