I’ve been on the hunt for an end table for one of our rooms — I wanted a small, preferably round end table to sit alongside an upholstered chair. My parameters? I wanted it to be either gold/copper or white to fit with the aesthetic in the room, and I wanted it for around $100. Below, my top picks.
This all-gold tripod table from West Elm ($129) was immediately in the running. Simple and sleek. At the end of the day, it felt just a touch too cold for me owing to the spindly legs. I think it could work really well in a mid-century modern situation.
I thought this arrow-accented table ($79) was epic. I came to the conclusion it just didn’t fit with the aesthetic of the room, but thought the price tag was pretttttty lovely.
I’ve seen people do AWESOME things with quirky hoof-legged tables ($150) — see this — but at the end of the day, it was a touch too whimsical for me. (#Lame. I maybe don’t take as many home decor risks as I do fashion risks…)
I felt I was getting closer to the target with this dip-dyed stool duo ($58+), which I thought would look super cool styled in the right way.
This $115 campaign-style side table caught my attention but I was really hung up on finding a round end table situation.
This Target steal ($90) was going to be my top pick, but it’s sold out online now — clearly didn’t act fast enough. Womp womp. This style is similar ($130).
Loved this Scandi style ($129).
The big winner, though?? This steal of a find from Wayfair for $68!!! Loved the style, loved the wood poking out at the bottom. #Donedeal. Also comes in some other great colors — that sunshine yellow one really made me think temporarily about redoing some of the color choices in the room!
For styling, I knew I wanted a pink lamp and considered these four options:
+Society Social ($250).
+Double gourd lamp ($99).
+Target, I love you ($28).
+Um, blow-your-budget amazingness ($485).
A few other pieces I am contemplating to complete the styling:
+Cool hand figural (on sale for $60).
+Lucite tray with gold handles (on sale for $25).
+Diane James faux peony ($125). On the fence about faux florals, but these look DAMN real.
+Peace hands tray ($16).
+My favorite bud vase from Jonathan Adler ($98). Would incidentally make a great gift.
