I’ve had a fair amount of traveling over the last few years and can tell you that there’s a practical way to travel (Tumi’s frequent flyer rollaboard is a must), and then there’s the way celebrities travel because they probably don’t need to deal with any of the normal travails of travel, i.e. a lot of walking — and occasional sprinting — through terminals; long lines; lugging your items with you; etc. Sometimes I imagine an alternate universe where I’d travel like a celeb and could get away with wearing heels and carrying ridiculous luggage. This is what I’m thinkin:
+Steamline luggage (love this handsome hunter green color, $775 — also check out this awesome retro hat box):
I’d wear a fedora ($20 — never worn one in my life, but feels very Selena Gomez); a mongolian fur coat ($570 — channel your inner Kate Hudson in Almost Famous); jeans (I just snapped up this perfect mid-hue, slightly distressed pair from J. Crew and LOVE them); and my Stuart Weitzman highstreets ($795).
I’m really into this new-to-me French handbag line, Moreau. An interesting alternative to the Goyard and Louis Vuitton totes — the burgundy tote ($1,225) is oh-so-chic, as is the checkerboard style ($1,520). Love the monograms!
Because I imagine that in some of the super high-end airlines going around the globe that you get your own room and change into PJs (sounds lovely), I envision monogrammed PJs ($285) and cashmere slippers (on sale for $75)
Don’t those look like heaven? I’d also have a monogrammed eyemask ($52) and these great travel bags for all different items ($11+):
