Getaway.

I have no cause to complain; I just spent a few days in 80 degree sunshine while visiting my parents’ winter home in Naples, FL.  (They are winter birds, living in DC most of the year but spending a few weeks in Naples during the cold season.)  But I am already prepped for another sunshiney get-away.  Top of my list: metallic shades (Ray Ban, $220…get ’em while they’re hot; they’re flying off the shelves), this breezy shoulder-tie tank dress ($88 — PS the brand 9 Seed also has a great similar style in some fab colors, $128), strappy sandals from It brand Ancient Greek ($177), and a straw tote ($155):

Along these lines, try a splashy Mara suit (PS, have I bragged that my sister designs for them?! — $245), an adorbs clutch ($344), and a punchy beach towel (Jonathan Adler, $98):

Now, just gotta convince Mr. Magpie of this necessary trip.
