Camo was really in a few years ago (maybe when I was in college?  Was that just a southern university thing?), but I’ve been seeing it pop up in judicious doses here and there this season in a fresh, interesting way. For example, take these camo-print shades (Valentino, $345) with a denim tunic ($195)

Finish with simple brown sandals (lovelovelove this pair of K. Jacques — $267) with a personalized canvas tote (note the monogram in the lower left corner! — $129):

The perfect look for weekend errands in the spring…sigh, I can almost feel the cool spring air.  What’s that?  No, it’s just the freezing, howling wind of the Polar Vortex eating through my soul.  You might also consider this awesome monogrammable (!!!!) clutch from C. Wonder ($48):

(I recently bought this C. Wonder tote as a gym tote and had it monogrammed.  In love.)  Another cool gal weekend look?  A silk scarf ($59) and embroidered chambray top ($35) with some slouchy chinos, rolled up at the ankles ($35):

I HAD to have these pointed toe flats ($39 – what a steal!) and have already come up with an infinity of ways to wear them.  Love the price, love the style…LOVE.
