A couple of items on my radar for fall:
A MARGE SHERWOOD BAG (SEEN ABOVE!)
THIS SNAKESKIN DRESS (LOOK FOR LESS WITH THIS)
ARTEMIS KILIM LOAFERS (MORE ON THE FOUNDER OF THIS WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS HERE!)
THESE WIDE-LEG TROUSERS (PERFECT WITH ABOVE TANK AND A CHUNKY CARDIGAN)
P.S. For an expecting mom, love this or this.
P.P.S. More pieces I’m currently coveting, loved all the comments/reviews on this post, and musings on dreams.
P.P.P.S. My favorite source for mini’s hairbows has put a bunch of items on sale, including this darling velvet set (perfect for holiday pigtails) and a classic oversized white bow.
I was in Zara yesterday and they also had a very cool snakeskin dress – https://www.zara.com/us/en/snakeskin-print-dress-p09878183.html?v1=22871478&v2=1281625
I was deterred by the long line for the dressing room, but now you’ve got me thinking I should swing by again today!
Oh I LOVE that. Going to check it out myself this week! Thanks for the tip 🙂 xx
Hi Jen! Great picks!
I’d really love a pair of not quite flare but not quite bootcut jeans for fall, preferably under $100. Any suggestions?
Hi! Hmmm. My first thought was my pair of J. Brand “Lovestory” flares:

I own them in a darker wash, but they are around $100 in the colorway above. They are definitely a flare but they are SO flattering! I have worn them regardless of whether they are “in” or “out.” They always look good with something tucked into them / body conscious on top. I do have trouble figuring out what shoe to wear with them, but that’s a problem for a different day.
I have also heard people rave about Le Frame’s Sylvie cropped flare — kind of a trendy new cut.

You might be able to find them on sale or eBay hunting around!!!

Love your picks! Nothing makes me more excited for a new season than picking up a few crisp pieces. I recently acquired a lovely Alex Mill tunic in what I like to think of as “air mail” stripe, plus a couple pairs of straight-leg jeans (Levi’s Made + Crafted and Citizens of Humanity) and a pair of black boots. I still need to go through my wardrobe & make a list of “holes” and then find pieces to fill them — one of my favorite seasonal tasks! xx
Ooh so chic! I wish I were as strategic in my own shopping…
