I’ve been featuring a ton of girly florals, pinks, and bows this season. What can I say? It’s au courant and it’s also very much in line with my feminine style.
That said, I do occasionally gravitate towards the other end of the spectrum — towards blacks, whites, reds. The powerhouse side of the spectrum. The Hillary Clinton side of the fashion color palette, if you will. I realized recently that wearing this red bodysuit made me feel empowered in a new kind of way — and that I need more red in my life!
Below, a few of my favorite pieces in the basics:
+This bow-shouldered top ($49).
+Rope-handled tote ($75).
+Dodo Bar Or blouse (on sale for $104).
+DYING over this Saloni stunner (on sale for $291)
+Love the bows at the elbows on this affordable white blouse ($39).
+Clare Vivier circle bag ($285).
+How chic is this asymmetric black dress ($128)?! (More asymmetric goodness here.)
+Rachel Zoe slides (on sale for $160).
For an evening out, this Rebecca Taylor stunner ($495) is EVERYTHING. As are a pair of these satin No. 21 slides (yowza!!! — $525 — #fashionistastatus).
Finally — this ladylike LWD is appropriate for work or play and, though it’s priced at an affordable $129, I’m waiting patiently for a promo code…
That white blouse is a FIND! So classic and perfect with a twist. A white button down blouse and trouser jeans is a weekend uniform for me, but bows, gah. BOWS! I might buy 5 of them, it’s just too perfect.
Totally agree! Love it, and can’t beat the price!
