Bamboo.

I mentioned recently how much I love the china from Juliska. This bamboo-edged set ($137 per place setting) is fun and elegant, especially with these rattan placemats ($30 each) and maybe even (overkill?) these bamboo cutlery sets ($168 each):

It led me to add a couple of similarly-accented items to my wish list, including these rattan chairs ($495 each — amazing for a breakfast table!),

Also loving this cane-effect umbrella stand ($173 — or get the look for less with this), which I might toss some vintage badminton racquets into (I did this in my foyer — you can find lots of affordable ones on Etsy, like these):

This gold-effect bamboo accent table ($99) would make a lovely addition (or go high end with this Jonathan Adler variation), possibly with this bamboo trimmed tray ($30) and/or this bamboo-trim lamp (Dana Gibson, $359):
