Items on my radar RN…
I am majorly digging the Missoni vibe of this pajama set ($120 for top, $120 for bottom). Almost too pretty just for sleepwear. Could the top double for a daytime look!?
I know I’ve mentioned the beautiful prints Biscuit puts out a ton of times, but I’m newly smitten with their Bloomsbury pattern in both colorways ($60 for a boudoir pillow)
I also dig their marfa print, which they’ve just restocked after selling out. I think it’d be perfect in a nursery — check out this crib sheet!
As I mentioned previously, I rarely, rarely ever buy anything full price at J. Crew because I fully expect either a promo code or a great sale section. However, I had to snag this tweed pocketed skirt ($110) the minute it came out. Very Chanel. So perfect for an upcoming work presentation. I’ll wear it with a white blouse. I didn’t buy the coordinating jacket ($198), and I’m not sure I’d wear the two together…but with jeans?! Distressed jeans, maybe?! So chic.
Similar vein: this fringed coat ($158) is everything. As is this one ($86).
I’d been a long-time disciple of Laura Mercier’s secret concealer ($25 — this stuff is pretty heavy…it’s for my fellow sisters with permanent dark circles under their eyes), and then just in the last year or so converted to Cle de Peau ($70). The latter is TOTALLY worth the splurge. A tube will last forever, it goes on like a dream, and it doesn’t look cakey. But when I couldn’t sleep the other night, I went down a crazy rabbit hole watching different YouTube videos makeup artists had put out on how to contour, strobe, and all those other crazy terms about makeup that I have no idea about. I rarely wear a full face of makeup so it was more curiosity than anything. Anyway, one of the artists strongly recommended Nars’ creamy radiant concealer ($28) and it made me wonder if it might be a good supplement to the pricier CDP magic.
The makeup artist also strongly recommended this Nars brush ($55) for contouring/bronzer/blush.
The videos made me want to rethink my makeup brush game. My absolute favorite one is this Laura Mercier “finishing brush” ($44). Only I use it for way more — I apply face powder and bronzer with it.
I saw this OTS striped top from A Piece Apart at Intermix the other day ($298) and thought it looked super chic and fresh and right now. But, $300 for a striped top?! I just couldn’t bite the bullet. So I was ECSTATIC when I found this lookalike from Zara for a cool $36. I’ll be wearing it with my new flared jeans from Frame Denim (on sale for $143-$191, depending on color/wash).
These oversized tassel necklaces from Holst + Lee are everything ($198). I like the idea of wearing them over a simple white dress ($88) while I’m down in FL in a few weeks. And speaking of warmer weather dresses, I have my eye on this frothy pink dream for Valentine’s Day and this for a summer BBQ.
Ahem, how beyond adorable is this $50 scalloped top?! A must. I like the simple styling below — just white jeans and some great sandals.
Love the sweet colors of this Rebecca Taylor sweater (on sale for $219), but gotta admit that I’m more likely going to be buying this far less expensive Gap find in the lilac ($49).
This memoir ($16) by a British aristocrat is next on my list after it was recommended by a fellow blogger.
