I’ve been having a lot of fun getting dressed in the morning the past week or two — I feel like I become my true self when it comes to fashion in the warmer months. I could live in easy dresses and bright colors all year round, and I love a loud statement sandal or pair of $10 sunglasses. Below, two little mood boards sharing some fun everyday outfit options — these are all variations on things I have worn and how I style myself on “normal days,” e.g., days I’m doing drop off, working at my desk, running errands, etc. These are practical but FUN. I do first want to mention that Hill House’s summer collection launches today at noon and I am ordering their new Cosima dress in the blue and white stripe and their Genevieve mini dress in the “loveboat” pattern to wear as a pool cover-up, as you’ll see them included in the mood boards below. The pattern on the latter is beyond adorable and reminds me of D. Porthault! I might sit on it to wear on Fourth of July with strappy sandals first though. So, so cute!
