One thing that has struck me across a number of recent wedding guest dress style requests: “please nothing pastel.” I get it! I am loving all of the bold, saturated, happy hues out this season after a long stretch of pastel and ditsy prints! P.S. What are you watching these days? There were some interesting leads the last time I asked. We are watching a mix of “Bridgerton,” “Peaky Blinders,” “Gilded Age,” and “Winning Time.” The first three I’m “smeh” on. The last is really well-done — high production value, quick pace, fast wit, inventive filmography (the footage “feels” old but has a distinctive modern feel).
