Oh heyyy girl. Happy Saturday! We made it to the weekend! I’ll be finishing Big Little Lies and eagerly awaiting the Oscars tomorrow night. (I hope “Manchester by the Sea” wins.) Until then:
You’re SOOOOOO Popular.
The most popular items on Le Blog this past week:
+This cute boho dress by BBDakota ($70).
+These reusable sandwich bags ($12) — so cute!
+My favorite striped top from Comme Des Garcons for J. Crew ($128).
+My top reading pick from the last few months — Rebecca Solnit’s Men Explain Things to Me. YAS, feministas!
+This tie-sleeved dress ($129) — a dead ringer for Tibi!
+My favorite round brush for getting a bouncy blow out ($12).
+These feather marabou slides from SUPAH FLY line Brother Vellies (more on them under pick no. 2 here — I’M OBSESSED). I love all you little Cher-from-Clueless babes for buying these!
The New New
I was so jazzed to hear about the upcoming (March 11th) launch of Eleven March 11 (see their cool Insta here), the more affordable, contemporary diffusion line from hot label March 11.
#Turbothot
I could not stop laughing at this list of what not to eat at Trader Joe’s. Of TJ’s canned Turkey Chili, the author (who wrote this book, which I just added to my reading list): “This is the most depressing chili of all time…It’s the Adam Sandler straight-to-Netflix movie of canned goods. (Did I mention a few bites of this slimy bean parade makes you toot non-stop for a fortnight? Because it definitely does.)” Dead.
This post on “clean beauty” for pregnancy and kids had me thinking critically about my own beauty regimen. The author makes some strong points about avoiding products with synthetic fragrances (aka, almost every product I own). Not sure I’m a convert, but it definitely provoked thought.
Shopaholic
+I’m smitten with this asymmetrical Anthro dress in the most gorgeous shade of Delft blue ($218).
+For your Irish #minimagpie on St. Pat’s day ($15!).
+A happy little polka dot dress for under $60.
+These bunny topiaries would be the cutest tabletop accoutrement for an Easter tablescape.
+Love this letterpress dalmatian print stationery from Etsy store Cow Goes Moo.
+Florals are big right now, and this $58 OTS dress is right up my alley for a late spring date night.
+This lace blouse is so Self-Portrait, but only $118!
+Also: do you guys use any Glossier products? I swear by their boybrow ($18), a lovely product that keeps brows in place and styled and instantly “finishes” your look, but have been eyeballing their haloscope highlighter ($22), which they just released in a new shade.
