FLORAL STATEMENT BLOUSE. In the above left-hand snap, I’m wearing a dramatic floral top from Caroline Constas from a few years ago. I’ve pulled it out every year since purchasing it and am still not over it, puffy sleeves and all. I know a lot of us are tired of the dramatic sleeved trend but I’m still loving it. Based on conversations with many of you over Instagram, it sounds like a lot of you are, too. A few similar styles to contemplate — the ByTimo seen above (on crazy sale), and either this or this from Tuckernuck. All three have similar ditsy florals that I’m into. Or go for this Caroline Constasz in a bold red print.
LIBERTY PRINT FINDS FOR LITTLE LADIES. I recently picked up a few cute Liberty florals for mini for the fall season — a Cecil & Lou dress, a Peggy Green vest, and this floral trim cape from Bisby.
PADDED HEADBANDS. As you can see in the top left photo, I’m still loving the dramatic headband as an outfit-finisher this season. Mine is a burgundy corduroy from Lele Sadoughi, but I think this similar Loeffler Randall in versatile and on-trend brown would be fabulous, too. You can get the look for around $10 at Gap, too!
CLARINS DOUBLE SERUM. Currently on sale (discount applied in cart) and seriously my favorite skincare product on the planet. I’ve written novellas about it, but it adds instant glow, evenness, and smoothness. I wear it daily.
TOKA B. HEART NECKLACE. One of our Magpies is the founder of jewelry line Toka B, and she sent me this adorable heart necklace! I wore it the very day I received it — it is such a great layering piece. You can see me in mine above with a last-season Cleobella dress (still available in mini me sizes, and on sale — perfect for Thanksgiving!). I have to mention that the dresses from this brand are wonderful for these transitional days, as they have great fall patterns but are generally made in a very lightweight, breathable cotton. Easy to layer beneath a sweater or over tights, but just as comfortable paired with flats if the weather’s still warm in the afternoons. How cute are this and this from their current season offerings?
LOAFERS. I have been wearing loafers with absolutely everything these days! These would be great with trousers, jeans, dresses, etc! Love the color.
ANNA CATE FALL DRESS. I think we’re all in fall daytime dress buying mode — I shared a bunch of great options earlier this week, but I discovered this gorgeous Anna Cate after that fact. A spectacular dress I’d wear from day to night.
CHANTECAILLE LIP CHIC IN BOURBON ROSE. My favorite lipstick, day or night. You can see it in every recent photo of myself. It’s natural-looking with a little rosy boost, and I love the hydrating, glide-on formula.
CURAPROX TOOTHBRUSHES. These are simply the best manual toothbrushes out there. The angled handle makes it easy to maneuver, and the head has like a thousand individual filaments on it so it really cleans every nook and cranny.
BIBLICAL AFFIRMATION CARDS. I recently picked up these Biblical affirmation cards as a Baptism gift and have them flagged as a gift for my children and godchildren, too. They come with an acrylic stand — perfect for displaying prominently on a bedside table.
LILY’S MILK CHOCOLATE COVERED ALMONDS. I bought these accidentally. I was disappointed when I got home and read the fine print that it used stevia sweetener — I generally try to avoid artificial sweeteners where possible — but I must admit I tore my way through this bag. These are the perfect post-meal not-too-sweet-but-still-scratches-the-dessert-itch bite. I love the cocoa covering. Very satisfying!
