I have always loved yellow. It’s such a happy color. Very difficult to pull off with my currently lifeless, pale coloring (damn you, Chicago winter!), but happy nonetheless. At the top of my list: a Goyard tote in cheery yellow. I’ve been going back and forth for about a year or two now on a good everyday tote. I’ve purchased a few fun stopgaps, including this Jonathan Adler style in red (now on sale for $98 — I get so many compliments on this), but have been waiting for the right investment piece to grab my attention. I may just make the plunge…
Nothing looks better with yellow than denim, and I DIED when I saw this chic chambray bomber in J. Crew’s newest batch of arrivals ($110). How chic with a silky blouse or silky pants and high heels?!
Loving a few fun little accessories for home and self, including this Sugar Paper note set (on sale for $20 plus an additional 30% off), leopard napkins ($48 for 4), 8×8 Cabana print ($30), DryBar blow dryer ($195), ikat pillow ($60), this Givenchy mini Antigona ($1,750); and a custom, monogrammed table cloth ($1309+):
Dipping a bit into the neon end of the spectrum: a cheery umbrella ($45); these Loubs ($1,095); luggage tag ($32); the perfect party shift (RedValentino, $715); the latest and greatest bedding print from Biscuit Home ($300 for set); and my personal obsession, this citron colored linen blazer from the Crizzle Dizzle ($178)
Finally, for my louder fashionistas out there, what are your thoughts on this neon floral jumpsuit?! I am thinking it would be spectacular for a girls’ night out in Miami.
