What’s Hot RN.

…at least, a mon avis.  Some trifles that have my attention:

What a fun, happy little print — festive but not “Christmas-y.”  And, $50.

Um, how slick is this metallic ombre pitcher ($25)?!  So cool.  I love using statement pitchers like this as vases or part of a well-styled shelf/bar.

I love Molton Brown bath products — we use their liquid hand soaps in all of our bathrooms, and their body gels are great for married couples because they aren’t overly feminine (or masculine, for that matter).  This limited edition scent ($33) had to join the Magpie nest.  Speaking of Molton Brown, this $50 “sampler kit” would make a good gift.

I’ve been very into these liquid lipsticks everyone has been carrying.  They’re not for daytime (for me) — a little too bold, a little too too — but for evening, they LAST.  I received a sample of Stila’s version in fiery red ($24) and was hooked.  I just snagged the bright pink Fiore after seeing it on the blogger behind Something Navy (it looked more Barbie pink on her and I loved it!!) as well as the soft pink Bellissima.   Love new makeup.

$22 for this voluminous striped statement top.  Get it while it’s hot.  Reminds me in a way of the Caroline Constas blouses that have been all the rage lately.  I want this one

I have heard SUCH good things about luggage line Away — very well-made, thoughtfully-designed suitcases for a reasonable price.  Their carry-on is $245 and includes a built-in charger (!!) for your phone.   I have sworn by Tumi for much of the past decade (even when I was traveling multiple times each month, that stuff just LASTS), but I am intrigued by this newcomer…

In my eternal quest to have an uber-organized pantry a la Khloe Kardashian (sigh), I recently discovered OXO’s cereal dispensers ($19) which is, I believe, what Koko herself uses.  Yes, they’re expensive.  But they keep your cereal FRESH and look so much better in your cupboard…I’ve also stocked up on a lot of these mDesign clear plastic bins for cabinet organization, whether under-the-sinks in our bathroom, in our snack cupboard, or as a way to organize the chaos of my tea collection.

I love these basic Nike sweatshirts ($35+ depending on color/size).  I am considering ordering one oversized — I think it would look kinda amazing with some basic black leggings (I love Lululemons, so #basic).

So many FAB scalloped pieces at Ann Taylor right now!  I love these little tops — so chic!!!

I’ve been cautiously circling around the idea of a chunky block heel.  It’s not my cup of tea exactly, but this affordable and on-trend pair from Banana ($128) has my attention.  On the other hand, why not go nuts and try this outrageously loud and festive pair for NYE (on sale for $325)?!

Finally…this, that, and the other thing:

+These lounge pants  ($39, currently 40% off) look so comfortable — I feel like I might never leave the house again…and I love those constellation prints!

+Pretty and sexy ($158).  I feel like this is the PERFECT dress to try with my pair of OTK boots–just the kind of look that has been all over Pinterest but that can be a little hard to approach.

+Gorgeous (on sale for $220). I love it in the blush pink.  I feel like you could make this dress work in so many occasions–with some prim heels for a tea, with some outrageous strappy sandals for a night out, with huge jewelry for a wedding…

+I’ve featured this necklace ($242) too many times already, but gosh do I love it.  Please go on sale.

+This dress ($90) is absolutely stunning.  So fashion-forward but at the same time ladylike and elegant.

+These serums ($65 for set of 3) are supposed to be the bees knees.

+Very Brigitte Bardot ($60).

+Such a pretty print for a pillow cover ($55).
