I’m in dire need of a new pair of running kicks — I’ve totally run mine into the ground! I’ve read insanely good reviews of the Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 ($150). They will be mine. And I love this green-gray combo. Complements my Garmin running watch (I decided to keep it!) and Bluetooth headphones. I’m also looking for solid cold weather running clothes — I love my Lululemon leggings, but have heard great things about Asics’ cold weather gear, like this layering top.
I’ve decided that Dior’s So Real shades ($595) must join my spring wardrobe. The question is: which color?!
Since I’m working from home a lot these days, I’ve been very into cozy ponchos and overlong cardigans — the types of things that aren’t practical to wear beneath a winter coat when I’m out and about. (Ponchos are such a pain with a coat over top!) This Aztec print sweater-cardigan beauty ($59) is AMAZING. So unique (Marni-esque?) and you can’t beat that price! YES. I also love this duster-length style, on sale for $35!
I’ll admit to spending an ungodly amount of time online shopping for some new home decor finds over the past week or two — every now and then, I just get this sudden urge to “juje” the home decor situation. I LOVE the modern, Scandi style of this cool little bench ($59) — and you can’t beat the price! HELLO.
These leopard-print Lanvin slip-ons are on serious sale ($376). You know I’ve been talking about wanting to take more fashion risks in 2016…
I signed up for ClassPass this month because a) I am committed to working out with the dawn of the new year, and b) it’s getting way too cold and treacherous to run outside. My cut off is 28 degrees. If it’s colder than 28, it just becomes super unpleasant, and there’s ice to dodge and…blech. So I ambitiously set up a ClassPass account on NYE and went ahead and scheduled a 60 minute spinning session at Flywheel at 9:30 A.M. on January 1st. I can tell you that I regretted my optimistic pre-booking when I woke up, but the class was a great way to start the new year. It was HARD though. Holy moly. I also took a yoga class the next day and have a barre class scheduled for this week. All these new workouts led me to order a couple of new tanks from Emi Jay ($38) to accommodate my varied fitness regimen.
How fun is this mini printer ($154)? You can print your fav Instagram snaps instantly. Pret-ty cool.
Tiki bars are all the rage up here in Chicago (try Three Dots and Dash) and I’ve been thinking about throwing a little tiki night here at home. I MUST snag these pineapple tumblers ($99 for gold, $32 for silver).
These unusually shaped little bowls ($15) would be so smart-looking at your bar area when you’re having friends over for drinks, preferably stocked with some marcona almonds or wasabi peas (two of my favorite bar snacks!)
This plaid runner ($12) is the bees knees. Target has a ton of great stuff for home right now, and this tops the list!
