The NewNew.

This week, a few things on the ol Magpie radar screen:

These monogrammed pouches ($95) from The Daily Edited are gorgiiine.  Maybe a good tide-over until I finally buy the YSL clutch I’ve been eyeballing for a decade but just can’t quite pull the trigger on.

Love this heart-embellished stripe tee ($135).

This mod-style rocker ($110) would look so sweet in a nursery or girl’s room.  Or a grown-up’s office.  Ahem.

These soft striped PJs ($88) from new-to-me brand Lake are apparently the softest thing in the universe.

I picked up this skin luminizer ($32) about a year ago after I heard that the stylists behind the beautiful J. Crew spreads used it generously on their models to perfect that glowy skin look.  I just recently rediscovered it at the bottom of one of my makeup bags!  Cha-ching!  It’s genius.  Hello, JLO glow.  P.S. can we just all come together and swoon over how stunning she looks on American Idol?  I’ll admit I am a weirdo and still tune into this dumb show (in its final season).  She’s one of the judges and half the fun of the show is seeing what she’s wearing.  From the makeup to the shoes, she has it ALL together.

These juicy striped towels ($8-$28) are a perfect way to spruce up a dull bathroom situation.

I know I’ve been featuring this style of earring a lot (a little too much?) lately, but as one of my resolutions this year was to step out on a limb to be a little more adventurous with my fashion decisions, I finally caved in and bought an affordable pair ($44) in the classic white marble color.  (P.S. I hemmed and hawed over whether to buy this $119 pair from hip jewelry line Amber Sceats but at the end of the day figure that these will be a flash in the pan style not worth investing more than a little bit of cashiola into.)

This funky white peasant blouse ($75) caught my eye.  I could recreate the look of this lovely Self Portrait dress ($540) by pairing with a simple blue skirt.

I swear by my Chantecaille rose water ($64), but once that runs out, I’m going to snap up this much less expensive version ($32) from the Beauty Counter.

These bow-toe heels ($248) are beyond adorable.  Perfect wedding guest tootsies.
