Staying (Kinda) Neutral

It all began with this dress (Lanvin, $2,990).  I mean…what does one say about this gorgeousness in unexpected camel/nude?  And the incredible neckline/shoulder dealie?!  And then I saw Kerry Washington in it, and I died even more.  (Does anyone else watch Scandal?  A fairly awful show, but still juicy and watchable and her clothes are RIDICULOUS.)  I’d wear it with these fab Oscar de la Renta drops ($444) or maybe these great Suzanna Dai studs ($125).

Dreamy with these degrade Jimmy Choos ($695 — so rad!):

During this time of seasonal transition, I’m all about simple dresses that you can pair with flats or heels or sandals and finish with a light jacket.  Something like this Equipment dress (on sale for $125) could go about a million different ways…here, I’d style it with a necklace in a slightly darker shade ($75) —

…but I kinda love it with these unexpected and wild heels (Brian Atwood, on sale for $268)

and the Annabel Ingall tote ($450) — still awestruck by this lovely.

This flouncy little skirt (on sale for $179) is also super wearable with just about any color in the book, including this navy-and-white-striped, embellished-neckline tee ($65) underneath this cute little merino zippered cardi ($148):

And pair with some great bow-toe flats (great deal — $88) and the lovely Givenchy Antigona ($1,800):

Kinda crazy about this unbelievable coat ($1,390):

Which I’d wear with this jeweled collared dress (Blumarine, on sale for $455) and these studs ($225 — Kendra Scott also has a pair that look remarkably similar for a fraction of the price — $55):

Add some splashy heels (on sale for $198), and you’re set…

And, finally, this elegant navy-trim blouse ($128) underneath a camel cape ($278), paired with skinnies and some spiffy flats ($79)

Love it topped off with this cherry-red Clare Vivier bag ($625):
