Stark White.

Rules were made to be broken, people.  That is why I will continue to wear white well beyond labor day.  My personal opinion is (a) whites are OK to wear as long as it still feels warm outside and (b) even when the mercury drops, there are still chic ways to wear white.  One of my favorite fall outfits is white skinny jeans with a striped oxford and a camel or navy blazer (just snagged this gorgeous caramel color for fall) and brown boots (my Loefflers are a standby, but I’m intrigued by these biker boots that are all over the place this fall, and these Rag + Bone boots are conveniently on sale right now…).  Anyone else a white-after-labor-day wearer?!

If so, consider this gorgine origami-esque trench (Vivienne Westwood, on sale for 70%  off…!!!…for $298):

It gets better: finish with these stunning Alexander Wang Lovisas (on sale for $248):

I’m also intrigued by this dramatic-sleeved dress ($114), which I dig with some thick framed sunnies (Stella McCartney, $270)

Feels especially au courant with these fresh-to-death Givenchy sandals ($1,090 — as seen and rocked out by one of my favorite bloggers, Damsel in Dior):

Lastly, how chic is this white leather crop top ($150) with a blush leather skirt (MSGM, $204) and this sweet drop necklace ($78):

Finish with Valentino Rockstud flats (sorry I’m not sorry I keep featuring these…they have stood the test of time in my book! — $995):

Chic, chic, chic!
