PBJ.

It’s TWO-FER TUESDAY!!!  A second, surprise! post for you.

There’s this magic that happens when you combine linen/denim (or some sort of textured fabric) and stripe.  I don’t know what it is.   It’s just this sense of casual cool ease — rugged yet structured — that gives off a “I know what I’m doing, and I do it my way” vibe.  It just all goes together, works together — like peanut butter and jelly. Don’tcha think?!

Get the look with some of these epic pieces:

+Mara Hoffmann OTS top ($180) and shorts ($180), or get the look in dress form with this.

+Lace-up ‘drilles (Manebi, $100).

+Pink cateyes (Quay, $50).

Or go all in with this cropped, tied top ($60) and a coordinating skirt ($68), and these incredible Altuzzura heels ($795).  The heels, incidentally, were made to go with this Loeffler Randall clutch ($175).

While we’re on the darker end up the stripe spectrum:

+How incredible is this striped, grommeted dress ($138, J. Crew)?!

+Fun pouch ($68).

Finally…

+I had to have this structured denim midi dress ($138).  I’ll be wearing it with pointed toe flats to work.

+Striped peasant dress ($215).

+Matching stripe set top and bottom (Free People, $198).
