Normcore.

Not sure if you’ve heard of the term “normcore” before, but it refers to a pretty popular fashion trend over the past few seasons of wearing deliberately “unremarkable” items — I’m talking about plain gray sweatshirts, light wash jeans, simple white tees, white sneakers.

This isn’t really my steez.  I’m more a maximalist type, TBH.  But that doesn’t mean I haven’t taken cues from the trend.  A few pieces that I’ve contemplated/snapped up myself:

+Midi-length ribbed dress ($50).  P.S. Can we just say thank you to the fashion gods for making midi-length in?!  So flattering.

+Nike Internationalist sneaker (on sale for $43).  Available for full price in more colors and sizes here.

+I can’t believe this has come back in (wut!), but I did snag a Calvin Klein bralette ($28, also available in set for $44) for some of my lightweight workouts/lounging comfort.  Very Brooke Shields, eh?

+Frame denim jumper (on sale for $140).

+Jimmy Choo sneakers (on sale for $385).

+This simple red crossbody is STUNNING (on sale for $224).  Channels the much more expensive Celine.

+Terry dress ($60).

+Black backpack (Rag + Bone, $595).

+Rag +Bone sweatshirt (on sale for $107).  Or get the look for less with this $40 style.

+Vans Hi Mocs ($80).

+Denim vest ($98).  I have one of these and love it.

+Cindy Crawford sweatshirt ($118).
