I’ve randomly watched some old seasons of The Rachel Zoe Project over the past few days, and I’m mah-jor-ly feeling the sophisticated, predominantly-black-and-white-and-neutral, lots-of-blazers-and-blouses look Lady Zoe dominates. Sort of a European elegance to it all. In this vein, I’ve seen a lot of the trumpet-skirt silhouette lately, and I gotta say, I love it. Get the look with this flare skirt (Robert Rodriguez, $199) and this amazing leopard-print DVF blouse ($285…um, as you’ll see below, I can’t get enough of the bow-front blouse this season) with some classic erorma-studs (Julie Vos, $85):
I know these shoes are a little overdone, but I love this look finished with the Rockstuds ($945):
I like it with a very simple, very chic purse ($225) and this bad-ass leather cuff ($175):
Finish with some snakeskin flats ($138) and this squat, studded tote (such a great, slightly retro shape — $545):
I’d cap it all off with these of-the-moment ankle-strap heels (what a PRICE! — $160):
Finally, gotta show off my favorite favorite addition to the fall wardrobe: this heart-print blouse ($135 — but J. Crew is having a 25% off everything sale…!) with a leather skirt ($300 — though the one I actually have my eye on is this puppy, for $150) and some Chanel enorma-studs ($1,200):
Finish with these fab Aquazzura booties ($495) — I like the contrast of silk, leather, and suede in this transitional period.
And, imagine rounding it out with this splashy little calfskin tote (Burberry Prorsum, $1,395):
I.love.
