Gray Day

So far, November in Chicago has been…gray.  No snow (yet), but lots of gray skies and dropping temperatures.  I’ll go with the flow, take a cue from Mother Nature, and will adorn myself in the same slightly desolate hue.  To begin: let’s all drool over this bad boy from YSL ($3,787) and these leather pantalons (J. Brand, duh — $895) with herringbone, heather-gray cap-toed heels ($268):

Great with the Edie in black ($238, but on sale for 25% off!):

Or, this nubby little jacket (Rag and Bone, $450) with these snakeskin studded flats (GREAT find! — $50), this unique chain link necklace ($98), and some black skinny wool pants ($118):

Cap it off with the the PS11 clutch ($1,950):

Or, check out this classy tweed dress ($215) with a big crystal necklace ($198 — plus 30% off!):

I like this look with a pop of red in the form of these colorblocked Proenza Schouler heels (interesting fabrication — $595):

And — forgive me for basically featuring this bag every single post — the Pashli ($895) in tomato red.  This bag is just too delicious, and I hate everyone who owns it.

And how au courant is this number ($795)?  The gemmed collar situation is so right now. And with these crystal drops ($370)?  To die.

Bomb with these Loubs ($1,295):

And…not to be a broken record — the Pashli in gray croc ($975):

For more casual wear, I’m dying over this llama print scarf ($130), which I’d pair with a textured sweater ($30), colored denim (on sale for $49!), and snakeskin flats (FIND — $25!):

(Or check out this more expensive designer variation, on sale for $114!)  And finish with this structured tote ($300):

And why not let the gray percolate into your home decorating decision-making?  I’ve had my eye on this funky vase (which I would probably just use as a piece of decor on one of my bookshelves! — $48).  Fab, isn’t it?!  Especially atop a gold accent table ($249):

And how about these awesomely affordable flokati pillows ($19 each) on a cozy upholstered sofette ($1,295):

Lovely…and now:

Aren’t these patterned sloafers perfection ($40) for your fashion-forward little sis?
