Embroidery.

I just can’t get enough of gauzy, embroidered dresses this season.  Currently at the top of my lust list: a Mi Golondrina hand-embroidered tunic.  I need one of these for summer pool season.  Just a matter of what color now…

I also love the idea of this embellished top ($160) with these origami-pleat shorts ($68) and these chic drops ($134):

Finish with some heeled silver sandals (Aquazzura, $675) — or, go with a flat style for daytime.  I love these (on sale for $140) and these ($40!)  And a silver clutch ($110).

I also love the blue + white color scheme.  This chic jacket-blouse (Zara, $80) has my name all over it.  Very Isabel Marant, n’est-ce-pas?!  I like it with cut-off jeans (Frame, $180 — this label as the HOT label in denim; I also tried on this pair at J. Crew and I loved them)

I’d finish with my K. Jacques ($268 — this affordable style gets the look for less) and this very chic crossbody (Coach — blblblb?!  Since when did Coach come back?! I loved this brand back in the day, and then I feel like it disappeared for a decade — $350):

Other lovelies to consider: this crochet shell top ($68); some bomb wedges from Louboutin ($795); the chicest woven tote I ever did see ($115 — LOVE the oversized pompoms); embroidered top ($65); ankle-wrap wedges (on super sale for $49); and a tasseled cover-up ($75):

In the same vein, how chic are this and this?!  Lastly, I have a slight obsession with Joie’s entire collection, which prominently features embroidery, especially after seeing the ever-chic Elle Strauss sporting lots of their tunics in this gorgeous spread.  I want this, this, and this.  And — happy day — this and this are conveniently on sale.
