I’m sure you’ve heard by now, but Shopbop is running its epic sale right now — 20% off any purchase under $500 (including sale items, WUT), or 25% off any purchase over $500 with code EVENT17.
Stupid.
Just when ya think to yourself, “OK, I’m going to give the ol’ credit card a little breakerooski.”
But.
This picture makes me want to get some spring/summer shopping done.
And that coupon code is like fuel to the shopping fire.
I’m for sure going to use the code to buy this pretty floral Zimmerman-esque dress ($74), which I’ve already mentioned previously on this blog. So pretty and I love the black accent piping–it adds something unexpected.
I have also been ogling over this Rebecca Taylor dress since the start of the season, it’s already marked down to $206, and with that extra 20% off, we’re in business.
The big debate is whether I also use this as an occasion to buy something a little out of my comfort zone. I’ve been eyeballing these funky wide-leg overalls from (who else?) Ulla Johnson. I love the way they’re styled on the site. SO unexpected and on point. And, here is the designer herself in a pair in a slightly darker hue, looking like a boss. Isn’t this just how you wish you looked? “Oh, hi, I just threw this on and my hair is perfectly beachy and I have this cool slouchy sweater and would you like a cup of tea?” And her house is #goalz.
Also, don’t we all want to look like this beauty in a gingham maxi? Yes, yes, we do. You can snag her dress for $275 plus 20% off here. (And, speaking of gingham/check, still love the fit and length and pattern of this boho beauty.)
